Goalkeepers have a unique role on the field — and they need dedicated training to develop the technical skills, decision-making and confidence the position demands.

The OFS 2-Day Goalkeeper Development Clinic gives goalkeepers two focused 90-minute sessions designed to build essential goalkeeping skills and then apply them in realistic, game-like situations.

Led by Coach Humberto, players will work through progressive training covering the technical and tactical demands of the position.

WHAT WE’LL WORK ON:

✓ Shot Stopping & Handling
Proper set position, catching technique, footwork and effective shot-stopping.

✓ Diving Technique
Developing safe, confident diving mechanics and the ability to make saves beyond the goalkeeper’s standing reach.

✓ Positioning & Angles
Reading the play, adjusting positioning and understanding how to effectively close down shooting angles.

✓ 1v1 Situations
Decision-making, timing and technique when facing an attacker in breakaway and close-range situations.

✓ Distribution
Using hands and feet effectively to retain possession and help initiate the attack.

✓ Game Application
Applying goalkeeper techniques and decision-making in realistic situations that challenge players to read, react and make decisions under pressure.

DAY 1: BUILD THE FOUNDATION
Develop and refine the technical skills goalkeepers rely on — including footwork, handling, diving, positioning and shot-stopping.

DAY 2: APPLY IT TO THE GAME
Take those techniques into more dynamic, game-realistic situations involving 1v1s, angles, distribution, decision-making and saves under pressure.
